Privacy policy
AL-Murad Welfare Society runs this website and Android app for members of the society only. We do not sell personal data, we do not show ads, and we do not use the data for advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps.
What we collect
When you register we store the details you type: name, father/husband name, phone and/or email, CNIC if you give it, house and address, and an optional photo. We store payment amounts, receipts you upload, suggestions you post, votes, and gallery photos you submit. Gallery photos stay private until an admin approves them; approved photos can appear on the public website gallery. The Android app also stores a signed-in session on the device and, if you allow notifications, a device token so we can send society alerts.
How we use it
We use this information to run membership, monthly dues, receipts, announcements, suggestions, the community gallery, and society expense reports. Notifications are only about society activity you asked for (approvals, dues, announcements, suggestions, gallery reviews).
Who can see it
Your dues and receipts stay between you and the society admin. Other members cannot see your payments. Approved members can see the community directory (name, photo, house, contact) and public society expenses. We use hosting, database, and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to operate the service. We do not sell or rent your data.
How long we keep it
We keep membership and payment records while your membership is active and as long as the society needs them for accounts. You may ask the admin to correct or delete your account where the society’s records allow.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed. The Android app keeps your login token in the device secure store. The site and app use HTTPS. We do not allow cleartext (http) traffic in the app. We do not use advertising IDs.
Your choices
You can update your profile in the app or website. You can turn off notifications in Android settings. For access, correction, or deletion, contact the society admin using the details on the About page.
Age
This service is for adult members of the society (18+). It is not directed at children.
